If you try hard enough and work at it then I think so! Also, there are some researchers that ask the general public to help with their research I think the SETI Institue have a programme where you can sign up for them to use some of your computers spare memory to look for signs of life on other planets!

I think anyone who wants to be a scientist can become one, yes! It helps to find out what you are excited about. (But I don’t think everyone /should/ become a scientist, because there is a lot more to life than just science, for example art, music, sports, these are all important too)

If you want to be a scientist, then give it a go. You need to try hard at the science subjects and school and maths too. There are so many different types of scientist out there that I’m sure there’s something for everyone. You don’t need to be a genius to get a job in science, you just need to find the thing that you love and work to the best of your ability.

Yes, I think most people can become scientist if they work hard, are persistent and curious. But I agree with Danna, not everybody should become a scientist though.
