        One of the lads in a group I used to work in added water to TiCl4. This resulted in a huge cloud of HCl gas being produced. Luckily he had decided to do this in a fume hood so it wasn’t too bad but we still couldn’t see the back of the fume hood!

        Once I accidentally drooped a flask with a virus I was growing – it was a mutant-virus so it is a bit unexpected what it can actually do!
