        Ideally, all science has “helping people” as the priority mission. We just do it in different ways: some scientists do it by trying to figure out a way to cure diseases, others do it by trying to figure out cheap ways to clean water in poor countries. Equally important, just a different way to help 🙂

        I would really like it if my research were able to help stop people from getting antibiotic resistant infections.

        My research is all about looking for new drugs to treat a range of different diseases. I hope that by doing my job well, then I am helping people.
